We're looking for a motivated, organized and intelligent
medical secretary with experience in a busy physician
office environment to complement the front desk staff of our
growing, four-physician family practice. Specific talents
needed include amazing people skills, experience and
confidence with OHIP billing and EDT submissions as well as
top-notch computer skills for our electronic medical
records system. Comfort with multi-tasking is an asset.
The job specifically entails answering phones and patient
relations, booking appointments, electronic filing, scanning
documents, supply and office organization, OHIP and 3rd party
invoicing, EDT submissions and reconciliation, room and
patient preparation, and assisting with simple medical
procedures. This is a full time position. Usual hours will be
daily from 10 am to 6 pm. Some days will start earlier, some
will end at 8 pm. Occasional Saturday work may be required.
